Cicibebe have been formed in Ankara(Turkey), by Kıvanç Çubukçu and Erdem Acır in the year 2000.
Akın Ünver, Gökhan Öztaner, Emre Ertan, Koray Kavuncu and Tolga Nemutlu have taken place in the line up of the band in the past. Engin Öğüş who joined the band in 2003 is still functioning as the guitarist, muscle power and wisdom of the band.
Cicibebe only gave a few concerts and recorded a few more demos after the 2002 demo named Hyper Activity Standards which consisted of songs in English.
The band have been influenced by artists like Metallica, Megadeth, New Model Army, Jeff Buckley, Chris Cornell and Harry Belafonte.
Band members make planes, interactive computer software and presentations on tourism statistics in order to earn their living.
